The firm represented a national retail store in a slip and fall case in the Southern District of California. Plaintiff alleged that she had slipped while shopping in the store causing serious injury. Following discovery we filed a motion for summary judgment on the grounds that plaintiff could produce no facts to support that the store had notice of the spill or failed to take reasonable steps to remedy a dangerous condition. Following briefing and oral argument the District Court granted the motion and dismissed the case. Plaintiff filed an appeal with the Ninth Circuit, which affirmed the ruling in an unpublished decision.
