The firm provides insurance coverage representation to policyholders and a few, select insurance companies in contribution and subrogation matters. Our goal in representing policyholders is to avoid litigation whenever possible and simply obtain for them the coverage and protections afforded under their policy of insurance.  Sometimes litigation becomes necessary and we have successfully represented insureds through trial in State and Federal courts. On behalf of our insurance carrier clients, we negotiate with recalcitrant carriers to defend and/or indemnify mutual insureds and pay their fair share, including litigation when necessary.

We have represented business and individual clients in a variety of Real Estate disputes including Partition actions, Easement disputes and adverse possession claims. The firm's clients also include apartment and restaurant owners in ADA violation claims.

In addition to Insurance-related litigation we have provide coverage analysis for over 30 years. Initially our practice focused primarily on analysis and opinions for the insurance industry but over time our client base shifted and we primarily provide services for Home Owner Associations, business entities of all kinds as well as individuals. The firm has assisted numerous insureds in reviewing the position of their carriers in response to claims, communicating with those carriers and, in many cases, ensuring that a proper defense is provided to the client. In addition, we assess the insurance needs and coverage provided by their policies in order to provide guidance on obtaining the best coverage possible.

The firm has represented Developers, General and Subcontractors and Design Professional since its formation in 1986. Over the years the we have also represented Home Owner Associations and individual property owners in obtaining compensation for property damage to their homes and properties. Our combination of Litigation and insurance coverage background give us a unique perspective and insight into the handling of all types of construction litigation matters.
In addition, we represent defendants and plaintiffs in construction site injury claims throughout California.
